The constitution of this charity permits it to either:
 
1. Own index fund(s) that track a major index, such as the S&P 500 (that tracks the 500 largest US companies), or and the FTSE 100 (that tracks the 100 largest UK companies). The advantages of this method are described by Warren Buffet in the video clip to the right.

2. Own shares in individual companies, e.g. in a water utility. A couple of the advantages of this strategy is that there are zero management fees and there is not need to hold any amount of stock in companies that some Christians might be uncomfortable with.
