Possible Future Projects

Reducing Costs of UBM Volunteers Involved in Evangelistic Activities

Unending Light has agreed to pay towards the costs of United Beach Missions (UBM) volunteers who participate in evangelistic activities. The full dividend from the investment held by Unending Light (UL) is expected to be given to UBM for the foreseeable future.

UBM Beach Team volunteers currently pay £50 for food and accommodation for the first week, and £37 per year membership fees. As a result of UL's donations the total cost UBM Beach Team volunteers have to pay to participate in evangelistic activities is expected to reduce by about £5/ year, so that in about 15 years it is expected that UBM volunteers will be able to participate without incurring any financial cost.

If the money given by UL to UBM is more than sufficient to eliminate all fees to their volunteers, then it is envisaged that the surplus will be used to purchase Christian literature.

Other Potential Future Projects

Good News for Everyone! (formerly GideonsUK) could be given a grant, restricted to “Scripture purchases (including delivery), either by branches in the British Isles or internationally”.

There are 100s of Dr Lloyd Jones and Tim Keller sermons available for free download from the internet without any copywrite restrictions. However, it takes a considerable time to download them all onto a USB memory stick and sort them into neat folders so that they can be easily listened to. A typical sermon takes about 20MB of storage space, therefore a 32GB USB memory stick should be able to store all the free sermons of Dr Lloyd Jones and Tim Keller. There are around 500 FIEC churches in the UK, so each one could be sent memory stick(s) each with all the free sermons of Dr Lloyd Jones and Tim Keller neatly organised.

Money could be given to individual churches in order for them to purchase books, e.g. books for children who have regularly attended Sunday School.

The Banner of Truth Book Fund supplies ministers, missionaries, colleges and seminaries, and needy individuals all around the world with books either free of charge or at heavily subsidised prices, and a donation could be given to it. â€‹
